I don't think it's the players causing the problem, I think it's the company's lack of ability to create a proper solution. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but c'mon, two-year-old games that are half as popular have a better region filter.

has joegraf ever taken the time to explain why the gears series suffers from latency issues far worse than any of their rivals?
has he ever explained whey they talk up so many minor fixes and balancing issues that are easier and cheaper to fix rather than addressing their network problems as a priority issue?
I don't know when you get the opportunity to talk to these guys, but please forward my inquiry.
