They told the press first and gave a specific date for them to release the information. This site broke the date and will most likely be not included in future press releases.

Hi, I work for MyGEN.com.au

Our presskit did not contain any information on an embargo, and so as we were concerned no embargo existed. It is unfortunate when things such as this happen, and it is in MyGEN's interest to abide by all embargoes set by the publishers in question. No embargo has ever and will never be broken by MyGEN on purpose.

This is legit. The Gears update will go out over Xbox Live before the downloadable content is available. We'll post some more information about this in the morning.
