Hello,
I've tried to open "Level01.udk" in UDK Editor several times, but it always fails and crashes the Editor. It seems that it's a matter of paths, as it tries to open some files located in "c:\depot\UnrealEngine3\..." that don't exist in my pc. So I need to know if this is a common mistake and if I can override this issue somehow. Thank you! |

It's not editable/viewable.

I also get resources and classes missing.
There is also no script code shipped with it, i suppose is just as an unmodifiable game example. Is a shame though since it looked like a good enough starting example for people who want to get confortable with the UDK |

You cannot view the levels, packages, scripts, etc. from a game after it has been packaged.

Well thats ok and understadndable, but this small demo was given as an example of how to use the UDK to make a game other than Unreal default games. Without the source and a way to load it into UnrealEd wont hit its harget too much.

Actually you can open all the Whizzle levels in editor. It will complains about some package missing, but still enough to learn how these levels constructed, and peek inside Kismet / Matinee sequences.
